Beautiful vintage hand-knotted Turkish village rug, likely woven in Eastern Anatolia (Kars region) during the mid-20th century. Featuring a rich madder-red field with striking geometric tribal motifs and traditional border patterns, this rug brings warmth and character to both modern and traditional interiors.

Hand woven from wool, it has a thick, soft pile and vibrant colours that remain impressive despite its age.

Good vintage condition overall with age-related character.

* One original fringed end remains.
* The opposite end has been professionally shortened and rebound at some point in its history, making it slightly shorter than its original woven length.
