Beautiful vintage handwoven Persian-style tribal flatweave rug / jajim, measuring approximately 136 x 72 cm.

Finely woven with dozens of intricate geometric bands in deep burgundy, red, orange, cream and dark indigo tones. The amount of detail and variation in the weaving gives this piece far more character than a modern reproduction.

Traditional handwoven construction with the pattern clearly visible on the reverse. Likely wool, with a wonderfully tactile, substantial weave.
